This Micro Display Harley tach gauge for Harley Davidson's utilises the pinnacle of LCD technology culminating in the perfect contrast for daytime clarity and cool backlighting at night.
The Micro Display Harley tacho gauge is machined from billet aluminium for superior durability and then chrome plated for that show bike finish. This Harley tach gauge offers user defined `cool blue' or `standard natural' backlighting, RPM tachometer bar graph indication, engine temperature for your Harley Davidson, clock, comprises a 3 Mega-bright LED shiftlight array for optimum RPM gear shifts plus indicator & high beam repeaters.
This Harley oil temperature gauge replacement and Harley tacho gauge simply attaches to the back of the original Harly speedo tank housing in seconds using 3M's patented adhesive tape system resulting in a very clean `straight of the factory' look. The Micro Display Harley head temperature gauge features a universal wiring harness which can be custom fitted to any Harley Davidson Softail model featuring the standard speedometer housing featured in the images above. The Micro Display Harley temp gauge or Harley tachometer gauge is weatherproof to IP66 specifications.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Micro Display Harley gauge requires attaching to your existing wiring loom. The universal wiring harness supplied have been designed to lay through the bike so the appropriate wires fall into their respective positions close to the connection areas. Typically there are just 4 wires to connect, high beam, indicators left and right, and RPM sensing from an ignition coil.
The Harley temperature gauge sensor is supplied in the universal harness and is a copper ring terminal thermister type, very accurate. This sensor is attached to the front 3/8" engine mount bolt on the left hand side of the engine and provides invaluable engine temperature readings.
